  • Hours : Spring/Summer (begins Tuesday, March 1st 2016) – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:00-3:00 Friday 9:00 – 2:00
    Fall/Winter (begins Tuesday, October 11th 2016) – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:00 – 6:00 Friday 9:-00 – 2:00 
  • There are two full time Staff –  Michele DeSouza and Roona Maloney
  • We are a free service. (Your tax dollars at work)
  • We ask everyone to sign in at every visit and to fill in a family information form each year or if there is a new addition to your family. The sign in sheet and the family information  forms are at the front entrance.
  • We are a Registered Charity and a not for profit organization.
  • We provide tax receipts  for donations of $20.00 or more
  • We are a Nut Free environment and ask that everyone ensure that all food that comes into the Storefront be completely nut free.
  • We are shoe free inside the Storefront to keep the floors nice and clean for all the crawling babies.  You are welcome to bring indoor shoes or slippers that have not been worn outside.
  • We have a great and safe place for strollers to be kept during your visit – it is at the end of our building through a blue door propped open with a brick.
  • We have a lovely kitchen with coffee and tea available throughout the day – please help yourself.  Apple juice, crackers and cookies are also available.
  • You can also bring lunch for yourself and child(ren). There is a microwave for heating up food.
  • We do ask that all food be eaten in the main floor kitchen so that crawling babies only eat the food they have been given.
  • We do not have program activity times but we have paint available during the day and various craft materials also available. Please feel free to ask for something if you do not know where it might be.
  • We ask that children be with their adults to go downstairs into the play space and ask that they be supervised  while downstairs.
  • We do not offer birthday party rentals
  • We do not have a toy lending library
  • We do not provide referrals for caregivers but are happy to pass on information (please see:  Useful Links)
  • We have a community information bulletin board near the change table on the main floor
  • We have a change table on the main floor and one in the basement, which are the only places to change diapers.
  • We also have a crib on the main floor and in the basement = please feel free to use these for any sleeping child.
  • There is a bathroom on the main floor for adults and children – with several potties. There is also a bathroom for children in the basement. We do ask that the potties be emptied and rinsed after use.
