Donations & Wish List

Dear Friends,

The Children’s Storefront has been welcoming and supporting Toronto families since 1975.  We wish to say thank you very much to the many kind friends and donors who have supported us over the years.

Because our mission has always been to be accessible to all families with young children, The Children’s Storefront has never charged for its services. As the first child-parent centre in Ontario, we paved the way for many of the free programs now in existence.

We run on a shoe-string budget and we get by with a little help with our friends.

For over 40 years, parents, grandparents, caregivers and children have gathered at The Children’s Storefront, finding support, forming friendships, developing a strong sense of community, learning and growing together.  In our new location we have a community kitchen which offers wholesome, low-cost lunches every day from September to June and suppers on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between Thanksgiving and February.  We host the occasional potluck brunch and fundraising dinner and are able to have cooking bees and cooking skills workshops.

Please consider donating $20, $35 or $50 today. It’s easy to do, you can click on the Donate button at www.childrensstorefront.com to make a secure donation via PayPal or mail your donation to The Children’s Storefront, 826 Bloor St. W. Toronto, ON  M6G 1L9.

Your gift will make a huge difference not only for the children and families who visit the Storefront every day but for the greater community and for the future.  Donations of $20 or more will receive a charitable tax receipt.

Sincerely,

Roona Maloney
